The full list of PFA player of the year 2019 has been revealed. The Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) have revealed their nominated players for the Players’ Player of the Year award, with Mohamed Salah, Kevin De Bruyne and Harry Kane leading the nomination. Manchester City who are at the top of the Premier League dominate the shortlist for the PFA Player of the Year 2019 award.
Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah who has topped the Premier League goalscoring chart by scoring 29 goals and 9 assists was shortlisted for the PFA player of the year 2019.
Manchester City midfielder De Bruyne who has played a vital role in Man City’s relentless fight towards the Premier League title, making 15 assists and scoring seven times have been shortlisted for the PFA player of the year 2019
Manchester City forward, Sane has been directly involved in 21 goals this season for City, scoring 9 goals and adding a further 12 assists, which is second only to De Bruyne.
Manchester City Midfielder, David Silva who is also a nominee for the PFA player of the year 2019 is close behind in both teammates, with eight goals and 11 assists.
Manchester United No 1 De Gea who has helped Manchester United to keep a league-best 16 clean sheets this season and they have the second-best defensive record with 25 goals conceded, one more than City’s 24 is also a nominee.
Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane who is the second-best scorer in Premier League this season, scoring 25 goals and having 2 assists is also nominated for the award.
After PFA’s annual awards ceremony in London on Sunday, April 22, 2019, the winner of this award will be announced.
